Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress, working together is a success, this is what we experience at Bidhuna School. The governing body meeting of 13th March 2016, conceived the idea of beginning a new mission station and a school named after St Mother Teresa at Bidhuna, a Tehsil under Auraiya district. His Grace Archbishop Mar. Joseph Perumthottam laid the foundation stone of St Mother Teresa’s School on 17th July 2017. The opening of the school though delayed due to covid 19 epidemic became a blessing in disguise, as it provided ample time for a grand preparation.

            The people of the locality were very welcoming and enthusiastic at the opening of the new school run by the catholic missionaries, who are the custodians of St Mary’s Inter College, St Joseph and Sanjos schools. It was reflected in the registration for the admission from LKG to Class 5 with around 300 students.

The state of the art building of new school is the fruit of the hard work of many. Among them Fr. Thomas Ezhikad, the mission superior, ranks the first. Frs. Raju Koippally and Jinosh Kottayil, were the initial care takers of the School. After that Fr. Vincent Padanilam who, together with his MSW studies, oversaw the progress of the construction. Fr. Melbin Pallikizhakethil tirelessly worked hard for the progress of Bidhuna School. He has taken charge as the Principal and Fr. Binoy Joseph as Manager. Fr. James Palackal supported and prayed for the growth of this School. The sisters of the congregation of St. Joseph of St. Marc have kindly agreed to help us in the running of the School. We remember the NTPC community which earnestly prayed for the mission. We remember graciously the pain and care of all our
Fathers especially Fr. Thomas Ezhikad, Fr. Raju Koippally, Fr. Jinosh Kottayil and Fr. Vincent in building up of this new institution. May the good Lord bless this area and its people through our heavenly patroness St. Mother Teresa. Let’s hope that this temple of learning will stand erect for many years to come, spreading the light of truth and knowledge to fulfill the real purpose of education.
